Mott opens its season Saturday.
FLINT, Michigan — The Mott Community College Bears return to Flint on Saturday to take on Sinclair Community College (Dayton, Ohio) at 5 p.m. at the Steve Schmidt Gymnasium.
Last season, the Bears traveled to Dayton to compete in the “Clash of the Champions” game between the two schools. Mott was coming off its second consecutive NJCAA national championship and Sinclair was defending its OCCAC championship.
The Bears won by 20, but this year’s team returns only two players from the 29-win squad of 2008-09.
