Stranded: Mott versus no. 1 Monroe game cancelled, team stuck on e-way

The scheduled clash between Mott Community College and no. 1-ranked Monroe on Saturday has been cancelled.

The Tribunes team bus was stranded overnight on the New York Thruway thanks to the season’s first major snowstorm in upstate New York.

The new schedule will be as follows (both games at Mott):

Tonight at 7:30 p.m.  Henry Ford vs. Kellogg
 
Saturday at 1 p.m. Kellogg vs. Mott

    It’s a shame that a local MCCAA team, like SC4 or Lansing, couldn’t step in and take Monroe’s spot in the tournament. I know that SC4 doesn’t play again until 12/18 in Florida, but maybe they’re leaving early for the trip.
