Steve Bell, a friend and high school hoops guru, posted this link on Mlive recently, and some commenters played the role of St. Thomas to Jesus on the miracle of a 5-foot-5 kid being able to dunk.
No one believed my first report of Jones’ dunking, and that was two years ago. He was in between games at an AAU tournament in Lansing when I saw it for the first time.
So, yes: Maurice Jones can dunk.

Forget his huge ppg performances against top competition, his importance to an otherwise average team to make them a state power, his outperforming his closest Mr. Basketball competitors head to head by a whole lot, the dunking on opponent guys in a game is reason enough all BCAM voters should vote for prep hoops little big man!
