Tonight, CMU recruit Nate VanArendonck shattered the backboard during Grand Haven’s game versus Rockford in Grandville.

Shattered backboard is always impressive (ESPECIALLY IN HIGH SCHOOL) but to be honest after reading about it I was expecting much more. The dunk really was not that special.
I haven’t seen it, but it sounds like his “dead” weight after the dunk went through is really what made the backboard pop. BUt I will have to look at it first.
