FLINT, Michigan — Mott Community College’s 6-7 sophomore forward, Torian Oglesby, will be making an official visit to Central Michigan University this weekend.
Oglesby, who prepped at Saginaw Buena Vista, averaged 10 points and 8.5 rebounds per game for Mott’s state championship squad. He also led the team in field goal percentage, scoring on 63% of his shot attempts.
The head Coaches from Central Michigan, Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Miami (Ohio) and Duquense University have all been in Flint within the past week to evaluate him. Additional visits will be set soon for several of the schools who have offered scholarships.
The coaches have been impressed with Oglesby’s athleticism and his connection to the Mott program, one that went 55-9 during his two seasons in Flint. Oglesby has a 3.0 g.p.a and is on track to graduate.

That’s a good fit for both! CMU has gathered in a lot of PF/C, and needs some mobile SF/PF capability.
