Umm…I’ll take Doug Anderson and bet the farm.
McCune in a dunk contest?
Honestly, they should have hired me to get the players. Some of these guys don’t belong in either contest.
I’ll have to agree with that one. Unless Anderson somehow misses his dunk, he has that nailed.
Um, how do fellas enter this contest? Can fellas that aren’t in college participate? The fields look pretty weak.
There are high schoolers in this exhibition, including juniors. I’m a little surprised they got clearance for those guys.
Joemar Black would have been a nice pick here
Just noticed the article said “… in accordance with BCAM …. “. Isn’t the MHSAA the governing body for high schoolers that are underclassmen? Seniors and College players would be the NJCAA, NCAA or NAIA or other entity as the case may be. So why’s BCAM in charge of okaying this event and not the official governing bodies??
By the way, couple of fellas they outta get from college are Myke White of UoM Dearborn, and Jamie Stewart from HFCC. They might give Anderson a run for his money.
who would you add to either list, Jared and Marcellus?
I would add Cody Campbell and Patrick Haggin for 3-point shooters.
For dunkers, I would add Andre Johnson (6-6 Oakland CC) and Jamie Stewart (6-4 Henry Ford CC).
Johnson would be really intriguing to me. He could give Doug a competition I think.
Thoughts on Thomas Kennedy? Does he have a shot?
He has some pretty good ups.
I would agree with Jared on his selections to add. Although clearly Ray McCallum has shown ability to compete in dunk contests so he would be intriguing. Juwan Howard in the 3pt contest and not the Mr. Basketball Keith Appling who has a very good shot? Makes no sense…
Howard likes to shoot the three, but that doesn’t make him good at it. This has embarrassing written all over it.
It’s odd that Bitzer is in the three-point contest when CMU teammate Robbie Harman set all the school three-point records, although maybe Harman as baseball that wknd?
lets not forget that Jordan was the the 3-point
leader in high school at USA so I would not be talking BUB!!!!!!
I am only 11yrs old
