MCCAA standings: Top teams from east and west unbeaten in last 35 games

No. 2-ranked Mott and no. 4-ranked Glen Oaks have won a combined 35 consecutive games this season. If they both continue their dominance, they will meet in the MCCAA State Championship game at the end of the regular season.

    This is the reason I chose to sit out on the game at Alpena. I’m not sure about how exactly the MCCAA chooses the State Championship but I thought, “If I gotta drive far and Mott is playing Glen Oaks at their college, that will be a better trip”. I mean I saw the Ihigh.com’s Glen Oaks vs. Kalmazoo game but it wasn’t clear to me whom the best players where. (I almost felt sorry for Kay-Zoo with what appeared to be a newly remodeled gym).
