Tracking St. Clair’s Journey to the NJCAA National Tournament

Day 4:  Thursday, March 18, 2010

An early game meant an early wake up call, 6:15 am to be exact. We ate breakfast in the lobby and then headed to gym to get ready for our game. It was good to get a chance to get to the gym early to get up extra shots because the way we shot the first game it was much needed. We beat Bismarck State putting them out the tournament, 93-87.

This game got a little crazy. We both came out hitting threes from everywhere. Bismarck State is known for that though because that’s all they do. They shoot threes and play a 2-3 zone. So in other words it was raining threes! We had balanced scoring throughout the game. Five people were in double figures. Alan sharp had 19 pts, five rebounds and three assists, Eric Mack had 17 pts, Marquis Lee had 11pts, Jake Stark had 13pts and 11 rebounds, and I finished the game with 22 pts and four rebounds.

I had a feeling today would be a good day for us and that we would shoot real good. After we got the win we just relaxed at the hotel and ate some pizza and watched some of the NCAA games. I’m just mad the Notre Dame messed my bracket up and oh yea I had Florida beating BYU so well that Bracket goes in the trash lol. But anyway, after Dinner everyone felt that they wanted to rap so the bus driver let us use the Mic and spit a few bars. Of course we had Kyle “ K-Money” Brown on the 1’s and 2’s and Eric and James did the rapping lol. Those dudes had me cracking up. But that’s what we’re about: Hooping and having fun. I was sleepy until they started acting a fool lol. Well back to the hotel relaxing watching some more NCAA Tournament games. We will be back in action tomorrow against Monroe at 11 am. Game Time Skipps OH LET’s DO IT!!! It’s Go Hard or Go Home so lets make it happen.
