Flint kids talk Flintstones, 10 years later

Check out this piece from the Flint Journal’s Patrick Hayes, an avid GLH reader, on the Flintstones 10 years later.

And then, in case you were wondering what young players think of the old school Flintstones, this:

From Hotbed Hoops: Chances are, most basketball players in the Flint area have run into Mateen Cleaves, Antonio Smith, Morris Peterson or Charlie Bell at some point, whether it’s just playing a pickup game at an area facility or at one of the many basketball camps the players have hosted over the years.

But rather than explain the inspiration the Flintstones have provided to area players, I reached out to a few current players and asked them to give me their thoughts on watching the Flintstones, getting advice from them and trying to keep the tradition of Flint basketball going.
