Mott’s Bobby Lewis verbals to Northwood University

FLINT, Michigan — Former Mott Bear and Saginaw High Trojan Bobby Lewis has verbally committed to Northwood University in the GLIAC.

Lewis, a 6-3 combo guard, came to Mott with a reputation for on-the-ball defense and improved in nearly every facet of the game during his two seasons.

Lewis is strong, athletic and at his best slashing to the basket.

This past season, Lewis averaged 11 points, five rebounds and three assists per game. He also led the Bears with 46 made 3-pointers.

Lewis joins teammate Torian Oglesby at the next level. Oglesby recently signed with Bowling Green University.

    I thought Lewis was D1?

    • Jared Field says:

There were a couple lowest-level D1s in the picture, even late, but I think the GLIAC is his level. His sophomore season at Mott was injury-plagued and certainly not what most were expecting in terms of offensive production.
