Matthew Neil announced as Hope College head coach

Posted: June 11, 2010 by Jared Field in College

Matthew Neil, for years an assistant under the recently-retired Glenn Van Wieren, has been named his successor. Here’s the story from D3 Hoops. For East Michigan folks who don’t know, Hope College has had a tremendous basketball program for years. They have a great facility in downtown Holland and attract some big-name talent — players from mid and west Michigan like Peter Bunn and David Krombeem. The school’s rivalry with Calvin College is considered one of the nation’s best, at any level.
