Buctown’s Monte Morris draws interest from majors at sophomore camp in Cleveland

Buctown sophomore-to-be Monte Morris has captured the attention of coaches from at least two major conference programs after strong performances at the Super Sophomore Camp in Cleveland. Morris reportedly inspired interest from both the University of Iowa and Georgetown. Morris is a 6-0 guard prospect with tremendous upside. He’s a proficient shooter and scorer with even broader potential as a defender. Many in the Flint area consider Morris to be the top player in the 2013 class, alongside East Lansing’s Steve Haney, Lansing Eastern’s Charles “Cha Cha” Tucker and Flint Carman-Ainsworth’s Denzel Watts
