WOTS: Carman-Ainsworth ready to run

Posted: December 8, 2010 by Jared Field in High School

The word on the street has Flint Carman-Ainsworth’s young team finally turning up the tempo. I’ve been pretty critical of C-A’s coaching staff over the last several seasons for, in my estimation, harnessing talented and athletic teams that should have been able to compete with Arthur Hill and Saginaw High.

If game one is any indication, the Cavs are looking to open up the offense a bit. Led by sophomore point guard Denzel Watts and junior sharpshooter Anton Wilson, the Cavs housed Grand Blanc last night by 25.

No one was surprised that C-A won the game, but to win it in that fashion should surprise everyone. Grand Blanc is well-coached and pretty talented this season with Fields, Sauvola and Williams.
