Mott improves to 9-2 with win over Owens (Ohio)

The Mott Community College Bears are now 9-2 on the season after a 66-46 win over Owens on Monday night in Toledo. The Bears didn’t experience a letdown after Saturday night’s war with Lansing, a six-point win.

Mott led Owens by 10 at the half and cruised to the 20-point win.

All 14 on the roster played in the game for the Bears.

Mott was led by sophomore Doug Anderson who scored 21 points with seven rebounds. Sophomore Mike Brigham had 13 points and six rebounds. Sophomore point guard Sam Burton, coming off his best performance of the season on Saturday night, added 10 points and five assists.

Mott will travel to Kellogg Wednesday night.
