Demetrius Miller leads mott to blowout of Kellogg

Posted: December 16, 2010 by Jared Field in College

Mott’s sophomore point guard Demetrius Miller, perhaps more than any other player on the roster, needed a breakout game. Miller got one on Wednesday night in Battle Creek, leading Mott to a 108-60 win over Kellogg.

Miller nailed five triples in the game including four in a row to clear the way for another whitewashing of Kellogg. It was among his best performances as a Bear and, fortunately, there were numerous D-1 and D-2 coaches in attendance.

Mott led 50-29 at the half, weather a mini-run by the Bruins, and cruised to victory. Sophomore Doug Anderson had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Mike Brigham and Leviante Davis added 15 and 14 points, respectively.

Mott is now 11-2 on the season.

Mott will play Alpena at home Saturday starting at 3 p.m. You can listen live on MRSN.
