Posted: March 23, 2011 by Jared Field in Uncategorized

FLINT, Michigan – One would hard-pressed to find a better locale for a basketball tournament than the basketball city.

Flint’s storied basketball heritage will be on display next month during the Flint’s Finest Hoops Classic in Mundy Township. The youth basketball tournament, held this year at Hill Road Hoops, will attract teams from across Michigan.

Jerome Adams, the tournament director, is excited about the chance to put on a tournament that showcases what this community has to offer.

“This is a community that really has a passion for the game,” Adams said. “We really want to plug into that excitement.”

The tournament, slated for April 9-10, is for boys between the ages of 9-14 and girls from 11-14. For more information, contact Jerome Adams at jadams@flintsfinestbasketball.org.
