No. 16-ranked Mott blows out Muskegon, 92-64

Mott Community College improved to 3-1 on the season after a 92-64 blowout of Muskegon (1-1) on Friday night in Flint.

The Bears led by 16 at the break before exploding for 50 points in the second half. Mott shot 63 percent from the field in the half and 40 percent from three-point range.

Five Bears scored in double figures led by sophomore Diandre Wilson’s 20 points, five assists and five rebounds. Forwards Rob McCalley and Marcus Cole added 18 points apiece. Freshman guards Shawn Pardee and Austin Walker rounded out the scoring with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Daryl Kirkland led Muskegon with 19 points.

Mott will return to action at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kalamazoo Valley.
