Ben Simons, coming off a solid performance in his first collegiate game, poured in 24 points against Iowa State Tuesday night.
Dominique Buckley, a standout in Michigan’s MEGA Conference, is a sophomore at Iowa State. He played only two minutes in the game.
Buckley was among the finalists for the Mr. Basketball award in 2008.
