Michigan State received a verbal commitment from Suttons Bay shooting guard Dwaun Anderson today, according to rivals.com.
Anderson will be a senior next season and will join MSU in the fall of 2011. Verbal commitments are nonbinding until prospects sign a national letter of intent.
I have to think that Tom Izzo’s love affair with Michigan’s “Up North” served Anderson well during his recruitment. That being said, Anderson has big-league upside and probably would have received other high-major offers in the near future. He’s a thoroughbred athlete on the wing and oozing with potential.
