Saginaw Arthur Hill’s Dar Tucker, who is in his second season in the NBA Developmental League, has seen a big jump in his scoring numbers from year one to year two.

After averaging just over 11 points per game as a rookie last season with Los Angeles, Tucker is averaging more than 16 a game this season with New Mexico. And after a strong week by Tucker and his New Mexico teammate Shane Edwards, the duo was named D-League Co-Players of the Week:

Edwards and Tucker led the Thunderbirds to a 2-0 record on the week, both victories coming against the Reno Bighorns. In those two games, Tucker averaged 21.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals, while Edwards averaged 19.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists.

Dar has really put on the muscle. Good for him.
    One of my all-time favorites.
